About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist the Chef in preparing high-quality food products, adhering to established production procedures and systems.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and organize product deliveries, maintain inventory levels, and ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to local health regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including student members, corporate headquarters, and local alumni.
  • Special Events: Assist with special event meal preparation, such as recruitment and homecoming events.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1-2 years of working in a professional kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment, and 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a current Servsafe Food Protection certificate or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
