Pain Treatment Centers of America is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
**Job Summary:** The Medical Assistant Specialist will assist healthcare providers with patient visits, perform administrative tasks, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Accompany healthcare providers into patient examination rooms and accurately document encounters.
- Monitor voicemails and respond to patient calls in a timely manner.
- Update patient charts with pertinent information, including medications, allergies, and test results.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- BLS certification and current influenza vaccination required.
- Two years of prior clinic experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
