Director of Clinical Research

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Research to join our team in the Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery Section. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading and growing our clinical trials and research program, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical research strategies to advance our understanding of movement disorders and functional neurosurgery
  • Lead and manage clinical trials, including protocol development, subject recruitment, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with our team of clinicians and researchers to design and conduct studies, and to develop new treatments and therapies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to advance our research goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our research team, including mentoring and training junior researchers
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. MD, PhD, MPH)
  • Significant experience in clinical research, including leadership and management roles
  • Strong track record of publishing research in top-tier journals and presenting at national and international conferences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
