Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with the delivery of meals to area congregate sites, home delivery routes, and catered events. As a Driver/Food Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of meals and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver meals to area congregate sites, home delivery routes, and catered events on a timely schedule as assigned.
  • Assist with packing of meals daily.
  • Interact with clients in a caring and professional manner.
  • Obtain client signatures when meals are delivered.
  • Provide support to nutrition centers and work-catered events as necessary.
  • Report all accidents to the Program Manager immediately.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of coolers and equipment.
  • Work cooperatively with existing staff and volunteers for efficient delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Knowledge of food service procedures and safe driving practices.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds throughout the shift.
