Job Overview

The Finance Manager at Hire Point Recruiting will be responsible for the comprehensive management of financial operations, accounting practices, and reporting protocols within the organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, accounting, planning, and analytical activities.
  • Manage bookkeeping functions and ensure accurate customer invoicing.
  • Facilitate supplier payments and execute various financial tasks.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, cash flow, and financial performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and updates for internal meetings and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to validate the integrity of financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting for audits conducted on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinate the development of annual budgets and generate management accounts.
  • Conduct financial scenario analyses, including assessments of revenue generation rates.
  • Evaluate internal processes on an annual basis to uphold a robust internal control system.
  • Monitor and report on expenditures in relation to budget forecasts.
  • Work alongside the executive team to explore alternative revenue generation and collection strategies.
  • Provide insights on risk management based on thorough financial analysis.
  • Assess future opportunities and challenges, offering strategic financial guidance.
  • Support the business planning process through informed decision-making.
  • Draft financial policies, contracts, and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Perform additional duties as directed by executive leadership.
Qualifications
  • A degree in finance or accounting; advanced accounting qualifications are preferred.
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Proficient in financial management practices, including financial statement preparation, budget formulation, and cash flow analysis.
  • Strong grasp of accounting standards and familiarity with applicable legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in managing substantial budgets effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and various accounting software applications.
  • Experience in preparing for and collaborating with auditors during annual reviews.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of Special/Business Improvement Districts is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of producing clear and accessible financial reports.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and articulate federal and state fiscal regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting and financial software tools.
Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000
