Contingent LPN Liaison

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contingent LPN Liaison to join our team at The Salvation Army Central Territory. In this role, you will provide critical healthcare services to clients in detoxification programs while adhering to professional standards and the organization's policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Care: Provide health care services to clients in detoxification programs, including administering medications, conducting vital sign checks, and documenting results.
- Detox Services: Conduct pre-admission screenings of potential clients, schedule admissions according to Harbor Light admission criteria, and perform hourly checks on detox clients.
- Medical Support: Assist with medical services, including completing COWS/CIWA assessments, performing instant urinalysis drug screenings, and taking action as directed by attending physicians.
- Treatment Team Collaboration: Work with the treatment team to maintain order, discipline, and a substance-free environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess one of the following Michigan licenses: Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse; Complete Safe From Harm training and maintain a current valid chauffeur license.
- Experience and Skills: 1 year of licensed nursing experience, preferably in substance abuse; possess good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and email.
The Salvation Army offers an attractive compensation package, including:
- $55,000 per year (estimated salary), with opportunities for growth and development;
