Job Title: Social Work Administrator

Job Summary:

The Social Work Administrator is a key member of our team at The Chautauqua Center, responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day clinical operations and delivery of social work services across our sites. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee the operational efficiency and quality of social work services, while also collaborating with other team members to direct, plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate the services of the Behavioral Health Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Social Work operations across TCC sites, ensuring clinical and operational performance goals are maintained.
  • Collaborate with clinical management to optimize staffing, appointment schedules, workflows, policies, and procedures to meet goals.
  • Ensure an excellent patient experience, addressing and resolving patient complaints and grievances in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Facilitate and support process improvement initiatives that enhance Team Based Care.
  • Develop, review, and update policies, procedures, process improvement, training, and evaluation to support efficient clinic workflows, productivity, quality improvement, and customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to TCC policies, procedures, and standards regarding quality improvement, customer service, patient access, productivity, confidentiality, management of electronic medical records, billing, clinic receipts and deposits, and facility.
  • Monitor and ensure clinical and operational performance standards are maintained at assigned sites, leading site efforts to achieve established goals for productivity and quality.
  • Create, analyze, and present data and reports relevant to clinical operations.
  • Develop and monitor program goals and objectives, including clinical visits, outreach numbers, and referrals from outreach to clinical services.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations that impact clinic operations, participating in audits and developing and implementing Corrective Action Plans.
  • Track and approve operational expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other management to develop program and organizational goals and budgets.
  • Represent TCC in outside committees and/or collaborations as necessary.
  • Participate in QA and other meetings as assigned.
  • Complete subordinates' performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure communication of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures through meetings, huddles, and other forms of communication.
  • Develop, conduct, and ensure compliance for all staff for required training related to clinical operations compliance.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare or medical setting.
  • LCSW NYS License and College Degree.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations that impact clinic operations, including HIPAA.
  • Ability to use MS Office programs, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective problem-solving and ability to analyze and use data for decision making.
  • Ability to embrace, manage diversity, and build and maintain successful teams.
  • Effectively interact with people and develop positive relationships while being tactful, respectful, and direct in communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours and travel between sites as needed.

Reports to: Behavioral Health Director

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 40/week (Salaried Exempt)
