Inventory Management Specialist

In this role, you will be part of the General Merchandise and Food Sales team at Target. As an Inventory Management Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
- Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs.
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
- Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation.
- Stock, backstock, and zone product on sales floor.
- Maintain sales floor instocks for GM categories.
- Work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
- Work both independently and with a team.
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
- Flexible work schedule, reliable, and prompt attendance necessary.
Estimated Salary: $16.25 per hour.
