Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at HCLTech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and stock items on shelves or designated storage areas, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Update inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs, ensuring up-to-date information.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed, preventing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Conduct regular physical counts to verify inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

Documentation and Quality Control:

  • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions (receipts, issues, returns), generating reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.
  • Inspect items for damage, expiration dates, or defects, removing damaged or expired products from inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Communication and Process Improvement:

  • Communicate inventory needs to relevant departments, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies or shortages, suggesting process enhancements to optimize inventory management.
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts, identifying areas for efficiency gains.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
