We are seeking a highly qualified PE Licensed Engineer with extensive experience in Roadway and Transportation Engineering projects, along with a preference for candidates with bridge design expertise.
Essential Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Project Engineer
Additional Qualifications:
• Maryland Licensed Professional Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
• Proven experience in collaboration with Engineers, General Contractors, and Project Owners
• Desirable project management and development experience
• Proficient in computer applications, including CADD (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Familiarity with civil guidelines and permitting processes in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia
• Experience in Roadway and/or bridge design
• Understanding of project coordination and contractual obligations
• Ability to effectively serve as a liaison among Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners
• Experience in project development and management is advantageous
• Strong proficiency in CADD design software along with excellent communication skills
