About Us:
Devereux Arizona operates a comprehensive 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth aged 5 to 17 facing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. Our facility is equipped with dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 educational program, medical and nursing services, and various therapeutic interventions.
Your Role:
In your capacity as a Youth Support Specialist, you will:
- Serve as a positive role model for the children and youth, demonstrating genuine care for their well-being.
- Engage in a variety of enriching activities, including art, music, animal therapy, and sports, to foster personal growth and development.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of programs tailored to meet the social, emotional, and physical needs of the youth.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18 - $19.80 per hour, with additional compensation for specific shifts.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, or a related field, or possess 12 years of relevant experience.
- Have experience working with youth facing psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Complete a two-week orientation training program, followed by additional on-the-job training.
- Obtain a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and a valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Pass a drug test and a pre-employment physical assessment.
