About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume overall on-site leadership and coordination of construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Direct and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations, and proactively address any construction-related challenges that arise.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and project efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and community stakeholders, fostering open communication and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Enforce stringent safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all project personnel.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of five years as a successful Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and motivating project teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate project implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and compliance, prioritizing the well-being of the project team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
