Job SummaryAs an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for the physical therapy management of patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and interpret examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction relative to persons limited by medical problems, birth defects, or health-related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore patients' abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.
- Administer or prescribe modalities and other physical agents to promote healing and recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective discharge planning.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence.
- Conduct regular assessments to determine the effectiveness of treatment and make adjustments as needed.
- Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist License in California (or eligibility for licensure).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
