Job Summary

The Accompanist will provide piano accompaniment for music students, supporting their individual rehearsals and vocal performance classes. This role requires a skilled pianist with extensive knowledge of vocal repertoire and excellent sight-reading ability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide piano accompaniment for music students during individual rehearsals and vocal performance classes
  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or related field and at least 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a higher education setting
  • Previous experience working with students who have unique barriers and experience in assisting these students with their educational success
Working Conditions

The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items. The employee will work in a climate-controlled office and/or theater environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
