The Accompanist provides piano accompaniment for music students at Lone Star College. This role is responsible for supporting the musical development of students through high-quality accompaniment.

• Provide piano accompaniment for music students during individual rehearsals and vocal performance classes.
• Collaborate with music faculty and staff to ensure high-quality accompaniment and support student learning.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of vocal repertoire and musical styles.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a pianist and accompanist.
• Excellent sight-reading ability and strong musical knowledge.
• Cheerful and positive demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, and carrying of light items. The employee will work in a climate-controlled office and/or theater environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
