Ultrasound Technologist

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians.
Job Summary:Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Includes vascular technologists.
Responsibilities:- Produce high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon orientation completion.
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or become registered within one (1) year of employment.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry required within six (6) months of employment for sonographers with two (2) or more years' experience, and within one (1) year for sonographers with less than two (2) years' experience.
