Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Raleigh office to lead public sector construction projects, including medical centers, K-12 schools, and higher education facilities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on public sector projects. They will be responsible for overseeing project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site activities for public sector construction projects, including medical centers, K-12 schools, and higher education facilities.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Manage job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain project schedules, manage resources, and oversee project budgets for jobs valued at $10M+.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and conflicts to minimize project delays.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on public sector projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M or more.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent (required).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and project management tools.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
