Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team at the State of Missouri. As a Behavioral Technician, you will play a critical role in providing care and support to individuals in our crisis program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to individuals in the crisis program, including assisting with daily needs and transporting individuals to appointments and activities.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals, including implementing interventions to keep all individuals safe.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of treatment plans, including collecting and recording behavioral data.
  • Teach individuals skills identified in their individual support plan and behavioral support plan, including coping skills and daily living skills.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation on assigned shift.
  • Assist in providing basic health care, including taking and recording vitals and administering medication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 1 year of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
  • Ability to think quickly and act calmly in an emergency.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
