Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Radiology Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment and performing routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as requested by licensed physicians.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting and computing settings for each patient.
  • Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
  • Implement procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
  • Collect quality data for monitoring performance improvement.
  • Complete assigned goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
  • Experience: Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: ARRT(R); BLS Certification within 14 days of hire. New graduate who will obtain required registry within 120 days of hire. State license as required.
