Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide technical support to MRI services. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
  • Screen patients for precautions and contraindications
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Department Support
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • ARRT advanced MR certification
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
