**About the Role**

The Restaurant Manager is a key member of the Gecko New York team, responsible for ensuring excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant during their shift. This role has financial responsibility for labor cost, inventory, and cash procedures daily.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure high-quality food and beverages are served to customers in a timely manner.
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Manage labor costs, inventory, and cash procedures to achieve financial targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve store goals, and assist with the hiring and retention of quality staff members.

**Requirements**

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume atmosphere.
  • A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements.
  • Ability to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the workplace, and always strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for and ability to thrive on the development and mentoring of others.
