About the Role

Hour Family TX LLC seeks a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our growing team in Dallas County. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, minimum 12 months of mental health or social service experience, and expertise in working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This part-time position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing the successful candidate to create their own schedule while providing high-quality services to clients. The role involves implementing behavioral strategies and interventions, communicating with family members and caregivers, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior interventions from treatment plans developed by licensed clinical professionals.
  • Communicate, teach, and train interventions to client family members/caregivers or other support providers.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, meeting Department of State Health Services standards.
  • Engage in face-to-face or telephone contact with clients, family members, and service providers to deliver behavioral services.
  • Participate in service planning team meetings via teleconference, video conferencing, or in-person as required.
  • Manage calendars to reflect scheduled and cancelled appointments, and document interactions with family members and caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 12 months mental health or social service experience
  • Experience working with IDD population, including children and adults on the Autism Spectrum
  • Able to work with individuals of varying ages
  • Reliable vehicle transportation
  • Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius in Dallas County
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
