We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipments, verifying and recording incoming and outgoing freight, and communicating with warehouse teams to coordinate dock assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check-in trucks arriving to pick up scheduled loads from the cheese and whey warehouses
  • Communicate with warehouse teams for dock assignments and provide loading/unloading instructions to drivers
  • Confirm product loaded matches product dispatched and notify the office of any variances
  • Create shipping documents for drivers, including bills of lading and COA's, and assign truck seals and records
  • Provide warehouse teams with loading schedules each day and report any food safety or quality issues to the supervisor
  • UPS and FedEx shipping and receiving, as well as notifying recipients of packages received
Requirements:
  • Good arithmetic and reading skills, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn the system
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
Working Conditions:

This role is based in an office environment within a manufacturing facility, requiring the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and spend long periods seated at a computer workstation.
