Radio Frequency Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team at Torch Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-power microwave systems for the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO).
Key Responsibilities:- Perform critical analysis of technical data packages, including SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning/results, HPM lethality analysis, and HPM risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide recommendations on emplacement of HPM systems to maximize lethality while limiting impact to equipment.
- Interface with Naval Surface Warfare Division-Dahlgren HPM SME's to provide RCCTO leadership with recommendations on a wide range of efforts being conducted.
- Work with all stakeholders to gain approval to operate HPM systems both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Perform all-source analysis to acquire required technical specifications.
- Provide Professional Engineering Advice, guidance, and assistance in various stages of research, development, and deployment.
- Formulate/estimate technical parameters that are not available from all-source analysis.
- Support preparation of risk assessment reports, safety assessment reports, and technical data packages and presentation materials.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field.
- Experience evaluating, coordinating, and risk mitigating with HPM/RF systems.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- Ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplined team, including program management and technical/engineering personnel.
- Experience with Directed Energy Weapon Initial Operational Employment Review and Approval Process (DEWRAP) process.
- Experience with a wide range of sensors (EO/IR, Radar, etc.).
- Experience with non-kinetic effectors (Lasers, EW, etc.).
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in working with senior Army leadership.
