Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Huntsman Corporation is a global leader in the production of differentiated and specialty chemicals. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in Los Angeles, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the activities of production associates and ensure safe and environmentally sound operations.
- Develop and maintain weekly production resource schedules.
- Monitor and approve timesheets, time off benefit requests, and overtime distribution.
- Ensure smooth operation of production, engaging technical resources to resolve issues and problems.
- Verify compliance with safety, quality, manufacturing, and housekeeping standards.
- Act as Incident Coordinator for initial response to plant emergencies.
- Conduct cycle count and perform required adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Issue safe work permits and hot work permits.
- Dispense, control, and manage chemicals of interest.
- Train and conduct performance reviews for production associates.
- Develop and maintain work and safe operations procedures.
- Manage personnel issues for the shift, with guidance from Production Manager and Human Resources.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Communicate, train, and document process changes.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent with an AA degree in a technical field.
- 2-5 years supervisory/leadership experience with 3+ years production experience.
- Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Competitive salary range $90,000-120,000 per year, plus outstanding benefits, including healthcare, dental, and vision, and a 401k plan with company match.
