Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team as a faculty member in the Division of Hematology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patients with acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes in the inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in a robust and active clinical research program in Leukemia at the University of North Carolina
  • Collaborate with a team of faculty and APPs in the management of patients with acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes
  • Mentor hematology/oncology trainees and contribute to the development of clinical research studies
Requirements
  • MD, MD/PhD, DO or MBBS degree
  • Completion of a fellowship in adult hematology and/or oncology
  • Board eligibility/certification in hematology and/or oncology
  • At least three years of experience managing patients with acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes
