Job Overview

A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join ProCare Therapy as a Remote Intervention Specialist. This role involves providing direct services and case management to K-8th grade students, working closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Student Support: Provide remote interventions and special education services to K-8th grade students.
  • IEP Development and Management: Develop, update, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff.
  • Caseload Management: Oversee and manage a caseload of students, ensuring timely documentation and reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with school teams to support student needs and ensure compliance with Ohio's special education requirements.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Intervention Specialist license in Ohio.
  • Experience: Experience providing case management and direct services to K-8 students is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills, especially in a remote setting.
