Job Overview

Position Summary:

As the Electrical Service Manager at MECHANICAL ONE LLC, you will take charge of the daily electrical operations within our Service Department. Your primary responsibility will be to recruit skilled technicians who possess a minimum of three years' experience in residential COD service and installation. Collaborating with Team Leaders, you will help develop and refine our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manage truck inventory, and contribute to the growth of the service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of work performed meets all regulatory standards and is ready for inspection.
  • Oversee project quotes and manage the execution of sold jobs to uphold M1 quality standards.
  • Handle work scope, piece rate, and hourly reporting effectively.
  • Prepare comprehensive material lists for both truck stock and completed jobs.
  • Enhance crew productivity through targeted job training initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with customers.
  • Set clear expectations regarding quality and productivity with team members.
  • Proactively promote safety on job sites.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical work is essential.
  • At least 3 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the capability to oversee the electrical aspects of projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of installation practices and technical details of the trade, along with the ability to read and interpret plans accurately.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
