Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

McLaren USA is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound diagnostic studies, obtaining patient history, and explaining procedures to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound scanning equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Position patients, select appropriate transducers, and conduct scanning procedures to capture high-quality images.
  • Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats.
  • Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved school of medical sonography.
  • Registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
  • Current BLS certification.
