Overview of Responsibilities:

The Security Guard is tasked with maintaining the safety and security of the center, ensuring a secure environment for all personnel, trainees, and visitors.

Primary Duties:

  • Enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures effectively.
  • Safeguard the well-being of students, staff, and facilities.
  • Conduct thorough physical inspections and security assessments.
  • Document and report any adverse conditions and assist in fire suppression efforts.
  • Respond to and investigate any unauthorized access to the center.
  • Manage disturbances and utilize de-escalation techniques.
  • Uphold the rights of all individuals present.
  • Complete necessary security logs and documentation accurately.
  • Oversee visitor sign-in processes, safety checks, and inspections.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for campus access and egress.
  • Operate center vehicles and provide transportation for students as required.
  • Facilitate the pickup and delivery of materials as instructed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid ND Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
