Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Associate Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality throughout the development stages in alignment with the Flawless Launch Process (FLP). Your expertise will be essential in achieving manufacturing quality benchmarks during both the launch phase and ongoing production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality enhancement during development.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality targets during both launch and serial production phases.
  • Act decisively to halt processes and escalate issues in cases of quality non-conformance (STOP-AT-DEFECT).
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives through proactive problem-solving.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, product quality improvements, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Conduct process capability assessments to evaluate production processes against defined specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation pertinent to the plant operations.
  • Assist in assembly trials, striving for optimal process quality.
  • Alert management regarding any factors negatively impacting product quality or functionality.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to quality.
  • Maintain awareness of customer-specific requirements and risk management practices.
  • Manage customer claims, including warranty issues, through structured processes (8D).
  • Facilitate the final submission of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation to customers.
  • Support project-related documentation efforts, including P-FMEA and process flow charts.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist the Quality Manager during external and customer audits.
