About the Role

We are looking for a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach medical assisting courses at Santa Fe Community College. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work well with students from diverse backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach medical assisting courses, including lectures, labs, and clinical rotations
  • Develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning objectives are met
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students
  • Contribute to departmental decisions and participate in faculty meetings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in medical assisting or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in medical assisting, preferably as an instructor or trainer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
