We are currently seeking a Casual Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ChristianaCare Union Hospital-Cecil. This role will provide respiratory care services to adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors, and emergency care. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have opportunities to participate in innovative therapy and research.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a graduate of a CoARC-approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Licensure in the State of Maryland is required, and greater than 6 months of experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must maintain active CRT and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials, current BLS certification, and current NRP certification within 90 days of hire. Current AARC membership is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients in various hospital settings
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
