We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room.
- Special training and/or experience in surgical procedures.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current AHA PALS certification.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Additional languages preferred.
