We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including ordering, preparing, and storing radiopharmaceuticals.
- Administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by physician, and administer radioisotopes parenterally when legally permissible.
- Interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies program/plan, manipulate raw data, and review studies for correct positioning and overall quality.
- Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
