We are seeking a skilled Medical Therapist to join our team at ECHN, providing expert patient care and rehabilitation services.
Job SummaryThe Speech Language Pathologist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized treatment plans, focusing on improving or restoring speech and language functions in patients. This role involves community education, clinical education of students, and fostering an innovative work environment.
Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, along with clinical certification and a valid state license. We offer a competitive salary, with the estimated annual compensation ranging from $85,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
- Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status.
- Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to attain established goals.
- Utilizes effective techniques to assist in normalizing speech and language activity.
- Edifies patients/families in home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
This position requires strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs. The ideal candidate must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to travel between multiple work sites.
