Human Resources Generalist

Job OpportunityThe Academy Charter School is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. With a strong focus on character development and community service, we aim to cultivate a student body poised to be active, engaged, and responsible members of the community.

This role involves managing various HR functions, including onboarding new hires, processing paperwork, maintaining licensing and certification information, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

About the Role

• Develop and implement efficient HR processes to streamline operations and improve employee experience.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and records, ensuring compliance with employment, legal, and mandated requirements.
• Collaborate with staffing agencies to ensure adequate coverage of staff and provide reports as needed.
• Assist in completing quarterly internal audits and manage employee termination processes, including exit interviews and off-boarding.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, based on education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in human resources or a related field.
• Strong interest in process improvement and ability to work well with diverse groups.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, with HR Certification considered an asset.
