Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to neonates, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, incorporating the latest research and guidelines in neonatal care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in neonatal care.
  • Provide education and support to families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their baby's care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in a Level IV NICU.
  • Current State of California Registered Nurse and NNP License (eligible to obtain).
  • National Certification as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
  • Current DEA license and Furnishing Number.
  • Current BLS and PALS certification.
