Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider, including gathering vital signs, specimen collection, and communicating changes in patient condition.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized care area, stocking supplies, and performing administrative duties as assigned.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred.
- 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
