Key Responsibilities:
The Production Specialist is integral to the manufacturing of foam-based products. Responsibilities include:

Foam Cutting and Shaping:
- Operate cutting machines and tools to accurately cut and shape foam materials according to specifications.

Quality Assurance:
- Conduct inspections of foam products to identify defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards before progressing to subsequent production stages.

Material Management:
- Safely manage and transport raw materials and finished products within the production area.
- Package and wrap finished products, ensuring they are prepared according to customer specifications, and track quantities.
- Move products using equipment such as pallet jacks, and communicate with coworkers to ensure readiness for the next production phase.
- Prepare foam for staging, handling materials carefully to prevent damage.

Safety and Cleanliness:
- Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment; report any safety issues promptly.
- Keep workstations clean and organized, including proper waste disposal and recycling of materials.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow and meet targets.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting, especially in foam fabrication, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and repetitive movements.
- Strong attention to detail for precision in cutting, shaping, and assembling foam components.
- Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn to operate various manufacturing machines and tools.
