Job Summary

As a Senior System Administrator at Fidelity Information Services, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems. You will deploy releases of new technologies, design, install, configure, maintain, and integrate system testing performance of PC/server operating systems, related utilities, and hardware. You will also install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. Additionally, you will control user access and passwords, propose and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance, monitor usage and performance, train personnel on system usage, troubleshoot server, software, and hardware issues, assist with recommending, scheduling, and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs, research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products, provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, and perform other related duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Deploy releases of new technologies
Design, install, configure, maintain, and integrate system testing performance of PC/server operating systems, related utilities, and hardware
Install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products
Control user access and passwords
Propose and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Monitor usage and performance
Train personnel on system usage
Troubleshoot server, software, and hardware issues
Assist with recommending, scheduling, and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs
Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products
Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth
Perform other related duties as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or other related discipline
Experience in software quality control, systems analysis, system support, software development, or related discipline
Strong leadership and project management skills
Ability to identify alternative solutions and approaches to problems and influence others on the best approach to take

What We Offer

Fidelity Information Services is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $102,000.00 to $172,280.00 per year, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
