Position Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for conducting laboratory tests on patient samples, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and microbiology, adhering to established performance standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related clinical discipline, along with completion of an accredited laboratory training program.
Experience:
No prior experience required; however, one year of preferred experience is advantageous. Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent is preferred.
