Phlebotomy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Saint Marys, GA. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients and processing them for testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood and other specimens from patients using established procedures.
- Administer oral solutions as required.
- Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
- Enter data accurately and efficiently using a computer.
- Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
- Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management and sanitizing equipment.
- Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
