Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop next-generation audio-video conferencing and distribution products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product manufacturing and testing
  • Estimate new product costs and develop cost-saving strategies
  • Develop and implement high-performance audio-video circuits
  • Ensure products meet regulatory requirements, including UL, CE, and FCC
  • Design and develop magnetics parts, including inductors and transformers
  • Design and develop AC-DC mains and DC-DC switch-mode power converter circuits
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience designing and developing digital and analog hardware
  • Theoretical and practical experience designing high-performance audio-video circuits
  • Knowledge of ADC/DAC design and implementation concepts
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity concepts
  • Previous experience in designing products to meet regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of serial communications protocols and hardware interfaces
  • Strong background in the use of oscilloscopes, audio-precision analyzers, and other test equipment
  • Experience in specifying and verifying audio performance
  • Experience with Altium Schematic and PCB design tools or similar tools
  • Experience in circuit simulation using Spice, HyperLynx, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Theoretical and practical experience designing high-performance Class-D amplification products
  • Experience with Dante or AVB-based audio distribution
  • Experience with POE or USB-C power delivery
  • RF design experience
