Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images of patients. Your expertise will be essential in producing diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images of patients
  • Position and image patients to ensure accurate and clear images
  • Review physician orders and reasons for exams to ensure accurate and efficient imaging
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to produce high-quality images
  • Administer contrast media as required for specific diagnostic procedures
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registration as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • Good working knowledge of anatomy and understanding of the principles of physics, electricity, and variations of anatomical positions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
