Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Radiation Oncology Clinic. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering world-class healthcare services.

About the Job

This position involves working with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care, develop strong relationships with colleagues and patients, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, and documenting interactions
  • Collaborate with radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and physicists to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in radiation oncology
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing degree or Associate/Diploma degree with a commitment to pursue a BSN within two years
  • At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Basic Life Support certification from an American Heart Association-recognized provider
