Imaging Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Intern to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As an Imaging Intern, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology Department.

• Provide patient care services within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a registered technologist.
• Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting exposure factors as needed.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Assist supervising technologists and physicians in various imaging procedures, preparing and administering contrast media and medications as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
• Additional preferences include current enrollment in an accredited Radiology Program.
