Civil Construction Foreman

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway-related construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with and promote all safety policies and procedures, including reporting accidents and incidents.
- Organize and plan work with the Superintendent, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Direct oversight of time sheets, labor, and equipment, as well as daily reports and quantities worked.
- Review and maintain crew productivity and goals, enforcing quality control and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks with the crew.
- Develop material handling plans with the Superintendent and ensure that delivery receipts are collected and submitted.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman in roadway-related construction.
- Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, roadway construction equipment, and forming systems.
- Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with strong verbal communication skills.
- Dedicated and hardworking.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis on quality.
- Professionally and technically competent in bridge and crane work.
