Rigger/Ironworker Foreman Position

Job Summary:

The Rigger/Ironworker Foreman will oversee the installation of steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks as directed by the Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with The Middlesex Corporation's Safety Policies and Quality Control Plan.
• Plan and coordinate the installation of structural members, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
• Supervise and direct ironworkers, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct daily huddles to review progress, address concerns, and set priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment, and materials used.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to plan work schedules, determine labor and equipment needs, and report any potential changes or extras.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Ironworker Foreman in heavy civil construction.
• Proven experience with layout, connecting, and rigging.
• Ability to work at heights and read blueprints, interpret symbols, and abbreviations on plans and drawings.
• Prior rigging experience, including knowledge of hand signals, rigging gear, inspection, and proper use.
• Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
• NCCER certification is a plus.
