Equipment Maintenance:
  • Schedule and execute routine preventative maintenance on equipment as outlined by the Quality Management System.
  • Provide support for HVAC systems and water cooling towers, performing necessary preventative tasks.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication regarding project statuses, supplier meetings, and operational initiatives. Develop and document processes, work instructions, and maintenance schedules to uphold quality standards.

Facilities and Operations:
  • Ensure facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure manner, with regular checks to meet operational demands year-round.
  • Oversee and manage external vendor services, ensuring compliance with project scopes and standards. Foster strong relationships with vendors for effective follow-up.
  • Apply knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazardous waste management in daily operations.
  • Coordinate safety training sessions for equipment handling and emergency response.
  • Conduct investigations into facility system failures and develop corrective action plans.
  • Create and maintain standardized work processes and documentation.
  • Support safety initiatives to promote a secure work environment.

General Building Maintenance:
  • Manage building utilities and grounds, providing documentation and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Be available for emergency response 24/7, addressing security, alarms, leaks, and other urgent situations.
  • Coordinate janitorial and maintenance schedules, collaborating with leadership to adjust priorities as needed.
  • Promote cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all vendor services and activities.
  • Deliver facilities maintenance services efficiently and professionally, in close collaboration with management.
  • This role is expected to be performed on-site.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, compressors, vacuum systems, and cooling towers.
  • Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

Tool Proficiency:
  • Intermediate proficiency with power tools is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Experience in project management and effective facilities management using ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Confluence and JIRA is advantageous.

Essential Skills:
  • Commercial or industrial experience in a hands-on role for 2-3 years.
  • Well-rounded expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
  • Analytical skills to address issues effectively.
